Bangkok and Beyond

To Bali!

For our Songkran Break 2026 we went to Indonesia. Our first stop was the Island of Bali.

We got up early (3:00 am) to catch a direct flight out of Bangkok, ate our breakfast at DMK,

and were on the ground again in time for lunch.

We spent the afternoon and evening enjoying the beauty around Kabinawa Ubud Villas and eating dinner a little neighborhood joint.

    I never tried to make any, but constructing a house of cards must demand a lot of patience, practice, and learned motor skills?! The deep green everything is so different from the desert in which we live. The well manicured (rice fields?) look like an anachronism, but most likely a very necessary one.
