Shipwreck

We spent two nights at Baliku Dive Resort for two reasons:

  1. They were within walking distance of the Japanese shipwreck we wanted to snorkel around.
  2. They had a nice family room.

Ibus Sea View Warung

Our first evening, we walked to Ibus Sea View Warung for dinner. The food’s taste, presentation, and price were all excellent. The promised view did not disappoint.

The View

The view from our comfortable outdoor living room was lovely.

The Wreck

We snorkeled around the wreck both in the morning and the afternoon. It was a great place to explore.

Legong

Our second night in the Amed area we walked a little farther to get to Legong. The menu offered more western options. The setting was fancier. The prices reflected this. The food was terrific.

Appeares to be a snorkeling paradise, truly. The shipwreck festooned with coral, and prismatic schools of fish swimming by. Plus, great food – undoubtedly an ideal living classroom experience. (Excuse my please for challenging my vocabulary.)
