We enjoyed the lead up to Christmas both with daily pauses for scripture and prayer

as well as with forays into the many festive offerings of Bangkok.
One of our first outings was the Siam Kempinski Tree Lighting. I was so busy enjoying the free food and drinks, music and dance, that I came away with just this photo:

We also enjoyed gingerbread house making at the Westin. Not only were all materials provided and ready to go for us, admission also included a lunch buffet.
My wife and I once again treated ourselves to a Holiday Afternoon Tea, this time at the Peninsula. The large real tree in the lobby added to the experience.

We also enjoyed joining a friend of ours for an evening tour of some of the lights in the Chit Lom area.

One unique moment in the tour was the mirrored room beneath the Christmas Tree in Gaysorn Amarin lit only by a single screen displaying holiday scenes.
I also had the opportunity to join in some carol singing with my voice and with my khaen (แคน).
