After visiting Khao Khiew Open Zoo, we didn’t have time to make it to the Koh Chang Ferry, so we spent a night at the misleadingly named Maldives Beach Resort on ถ. เฉลิมบูรพาชลทิต (Scenic Route รย.4036) on the coast in Chantaburi.
We enjoyed the waterslides, the setting, and the breakfast, but not whatever was in the ocean that very quickly made us quite itchy.
A 1 minute drive from our hotel was Khung Kraben Bay Mangrove Forest Education Center (ศูนย์ศึกษาธรรมชาติป่าชายเลนอ่าวคุ้งกระเบน). It was close to lunch time, so we didn’t walk long, but enjoyed what we saw.
Traveling along Scenic Route รย.4036 on our way to the Koh Chang Ferry we stopped for lunch at ครัว ณ อาภา. It checked all the boxes:
- Ocean view
- Air Condiitoning
- Room to play while waiting for food
- Delicious food
