Returning to Bangkok from Ko Tao we took our time and enjoyed some sights along the way.
We took the morning ferry from Ko Tao to Chumpon where we met the van which would take us back to Bangkok over the next few days.
Our first stop was lunch at Nana Beach Resort. Where we all enjoyed the view, and those of us who enjoyed the sand, could use the shower on the restaurant’s deck.
We continued north to Baan Grood Acadia Resort where we continued to enjoy good food and the beach.
The next day we continued on our way to Kui Buri National Park (อุทยานแห่งชาติกุยบุรี) for a visit to the wild elephants and gaur there.
That night we stayed at the deceptively named Oriental Beach Pearl Resort where we enjoyed hot tubs on our roofs, very long pools, and mini golf.
As we continued to make our way north, we stopped by Mrigadayavan Palace (พระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวัน)
and the adjacent Mangrove Forest Park (สวนป่าชายเลนทูลกระหม่อม).
That night we arrived at the Baiyoke Tower.
